ABOUT ABOUT

A young nun has died under mysterious circumstances in a remote parish in northern Michigan, and her superior, Father Rivard, has been charged with her murder. As the play switches back and forth between testimonies at the trial and the past the question becomes not just whether Father Rivard is innocent but if someone else is behind the murder.

Hailed as "a powerful and compelling play" by the New York Times, The Runner Stumbles (based on a real 1919 trial) will have you completely invested in the lives of these characters and have you questioning the innocence of Father Rivard right up to the surprising climax.
